Watch Description
This appears to be a 1940 Bulova Ambassador. The case and casebook is 10KT yellow gold plate The movement is a 10AE 21J and is marked "AAA". I could not find a date code in hindsight after service but recall this might have had an Omega on the dial side. It is missing the bracelet and would love to find one.

Was 21J and the case size the factor when comparing t a Lone Eagle model?
Looks like a match to the Bulova Ambassador.

I think the major visual distinguishing factor of Ambassador vs. LE is the lugs. LE had an incised groove near the ends of the lugs.
