Here is an interesting one. Appears to be an engraved sides black dial American Eagle. Case and movement dated 1939. It has a black dial with raised gold markers that appears to to be original, no notch from a redial and it shows well aged rubbing around the edges from years of case contact. Mounted on a 60's modified ladies band . Case is really clean with no high point wear on ribs, lugs or top corners.
Really nice one Bob, always love a black dial. Looks like the "F" but with a black dial. I looked in the ads and didn't find a variant for it.
1939 Bulova American Eagle
Yep, 1939 Bulova American Eagle noting a possible redial
1939 Bulova American Eagle. The dial minute track does appear to not match the case opening. Possible dial swap.
Dail does not match the known adverts. Although the "C" looks to have a darken dial, I'm not sure it's representing black.
