1938 Minute Man with diamond accents. Just had it completely taken apart and serviced. Crown was just replaced, all else remains the same. The diamonds are genuine. I have had this one for years now and it is amazingly accurate.
Welcome and thanks for sharing your great watch. Yours is I believe the third example posted with the diamonds on the case. We currently have the others ID'ed as Unknown. It may be a jeweler modified Minute Man, but it's also a distinct possibility it's a to date unidentified model. We have yet to find any ad accurately depicting this watch. No ads have surfaced offering either this as a Minute Man variant or something else. The fact that we have seen more than one would seem to indicate the distinct possibility it is a legitimate model as seen.

Here is an ad that is close, showing a different face and jewel count, but no name. Note that a Minute Man (named) is depicted as well.

The jeweler who did the servicing did not believe it (the diamonds) was an after market add on. He believed it was original. It looked most like the minute man so I figured it was probably a variation of it.
My thanks for the information. Im still going thru some of it.
Unknown for now. One day I am going to get the ad to ID this one.
Thank you for sharing your watch with us. One of those that we just haven't found an ad for yet.
