Measure incl lugs 46 mm / 20 mmb Back: B-10 K GOLD FILLED
Hi wfj_j
The Case seriel number is located at the 6 O'Clock end of the Caseback.
The Watch certainly resembles the 'MINUTE MAN' but they were 17 Jewels, according to the ads.
Movement swap or possibly an 'UNKNOWN' - Jeff recently had a similar with a 21 Jeweled Movement in this style 42mm Case so I'm leaning toward 'UNKNOWN' at this point, not sure.
Case and Crystal dimensions would help.
The Minute Man case has a slight tonneau shape, similar but not the subject watch. It kind of resembles the 38 President case but the 38 Pres had 17J and no sub seconds dial.
Unknown for now.
Interesting observation Shawn and a good catch, I totally missed it.
If the Case is 46mm the lean would be toward 'PRESIDENT' as they were 21 Jewels, 'TREASURER' was the 46mm Cased 17 Jewel model but it doesn't appear that long.
'UNKNOWN' for now.

Looks pretty long to me, though 46mm may be a stretch. I'm still inclined to go with a tentative President.
Two versions, one with sub dial, engraved case, other plain case no sub dial. Both had 21 jewels.
The subject has the same case as the Pres, with slight angling of the top and bottom of the bezel unlike the minute man's.
My first thought was President with the gold case back and 21 jewels. I would have to agree with Bobbee at this point. I give it a tentative President vote.
Lots of different dials and case variants. 1937 ad
also looks like it has the "B 10-K gold filled sig on the end of the outside case back opposite where the case serial number should be located. Didn't we see ads saying gold filled in 1938 and before, with gold plate in ads from 1939 onward?
Unknown for me.
Not Minute man. Maybe a President variant...but could be something new we haven't seen yet.
Wim, do you have any measurements for the case and/or the crystal?
