Yellow gold engraved is the right combination for the "F" variant of the Bulova American Clipper.

A quick revisit to this variant ID. We have it as the "E" but the yellow engraved is also the "F". Could be a mount strap vs bracelet thing.

We have 2 conflicting adverts:

Both are yellow, engraved and mounted on a match yellow gold colored bracelet.

Hmm. This watch is 1938 and the 1938 advert shows it as "F".   Could it be a year thing?

As we have a bunch already ID'd as the "E" variant I suggest we leave them as such until we can confirm another 'F" variant advert. Whilst likely not, the SEP advert might be wrong, or there might yet be another variation between the "E" and "F" that we've not yet noticed.

That's fine with me. Carry on....
