1932 Bulova Sky King in very fine original condition. White GF case bears Jan 11, 1927 patent date and has contrasting yellow gold in IXIXI pattern. Yellow gold Kreisler mesh bracelet is not period to the watch but looked so nice I decided to put it on anyway.

We now have a numebr of adverts listing both styles of the Sky King. How these two case variants fit into a time line is as yet unknown, but I for one am convinced that they are both Sky King models.
Sky King
We have 17 Sky King watches in the db right now - One of them is arguably not a Sky King at all, 9 of them have the IXIXI pattern. The two 1930 IXIXI models do not have case serial numbers listed so they are movement dated and questionable for model year, they could be 1931 cases. The majority of the panel apparently agree that these are Sky Kings. We need to move on, we have 9 watches awaiting ID right now.
No proof that this is a Sky King. Very close and often misidentified(I've done it myself).

We have some recent third party ads suggesting the XX baguette xx pattern was at least advertised as such. Both ads from 1932.
