I'm OK with this being a Conqueror - tentative, even if the movement is a swap. I like it
I was thinking that it was a movement swap as well, but who knows .
I doubt it.
The Years of manufacture for the Movement and Case are sequential, the odds of a Watchmaker putting the 2 together are slim and none as We have just realized the significance of the Case seriel number when Dating a Bulova timepiece.
I'm thinking more of a Depression era piece, the lower Jewel Count Movement would have reduced the original cost of the Watch making it more affordable in very lean times.
