I was just given this watch as a gift from my father. No history accompanied the watch, but it has been serviced and runs beautifully. I was told it is a 1929 model, and the Shield symbol along with the case serial number beginning with a 9 would seem to back that up. The case is two-tone with an art deco design on the front and sides. This mystery watch model looks like the Ambassador, Revere, Senator, Brewster and Executive merged together. I would love to know more about this timepiece!
It appears in the following ad. If only they had included the model name!

Has anyone come across more information on this watch? Thanks!

Nothing to report tunatime. There's no question that there are a lot of Unknown Bulova watches out there and alas, this is still one of them. Not to worry though, we haven't given up on any of them!
This is from a 21 Jun 1929 Omaha World Hearld. Matches the engraving hands and dial. no mention of two tone but a good match to me.
