Watch Description

I picked this up from a seller who inherited it from her grandmother.  She said that she didn't think her grandmother was the original owner because the initials on the back aren't hers.

Signed "Bulova Quality Filled" case back.

My preliminary diagnosis is a 153 per previous discusisons as it is gold filled.  But these watches are interesting.  The engraving on the bezel seems to be stereo typical but the watch faces are like snow flakes.  All the ones in the database are different.  The subject watch face looks the most like this one but that watch the filigree around the edges of the dial.

The font on the dial and the blue hands seem to be common to all of the watches.

The other watches all have 10A movements and this one has a 10AA.  But the 16 jewel count is correct as is the date range for the 10AA movement.

I just love these older models so much.  I do believe I read that the dials were hand engraved and could explain why they are all unique.

Bulova 153 seems like a good match

I agree. These ladies watches are the best kept secret. They're like works of art. Knowing they are hand engraved only makes it better.

Based on the second number in the case serial number '5', I've updated the watch record to 1925.
