I think it will model 154, full advert
Yep, 154 from me.
153.
The 154 was solid gold. Nice watch dude.
1923 ad.

In reply to 153. The 154 was solid by bobbee
bobbee I still think the 154 (ad from 1924)

The ad I posted specifies the model number.
Imagine an ad saying "Clipper, in yellow or white" but the yellow is the 'A' variant, and the white model is actually 'B' variant, O.K.?
Your ad is just like my "Clipper" example, it shows there is solid and filled but gives just one variant.
Jabs, I think Bob's right on this one - the ad shows one photo and then specifies:
153 = Filled, 154 = Solid
I'm going with 1925 Bulova 153
I have no problem with ID 153
Love it and concur 100% with the Bulova 153 model.
Let's see if I got this right. In another 1924 model 154 record, admin lays out the following below:
14K solid; 18K 25 year (filled); 19K 25 year (filled) = 154
14K 25 year (quality filled) = 153

Jabs did the red circle above. In the other 1924 record, we accept the "In 18Kt. 25-year" in first 1923 ad refers to 154.
We do the opposite for the "Bulova Quality filled" in the red circle in 1924 ad. We don't accept the "Bulova Quality Filled" refers to the 154.
I don't believe that the distinction is correct.
We see also in the ads "25 year" regardless of gold karat content for gold filled.
This shows that "gold filled" or "quality filled" would be the 153 whatever the karat used, and 154 is for the solid gold models alone.
Yea I agree Bobbee. We can see all the watches on the left side of the ad you used a few comments up (posted again below). The solids all end with a last digit of 4. The fills, regardless of gold karat content, all end with a last digit of 3.
