Very nice, but how did you determine 1922 as a date?

Date is an estimate based on the fact that we see 1921 watches marked with 'Bulova W Co.' and 1923 watches marked with 'Bulova Watch Co.'

The case and movement suggest that its pre 1923, thus at this stage I'm going with 1922. I could be wrong but for now I'm going with what I believe it to be.

Part of the panel is to still discuss and agree to a date and model.

The band alone is worth what I paid for it :-) Although something worth thinking about is that the first advert we have showing these filigree bands in about 1928.....all the early 1921/22/23 ladies are all shown with the black silk/clolth straps.

I can't read a thing on that ad, but it does resemble the blurry eight-sided watch-shape part.
