Just noticed something. Check out the more legible 1923 AD2 in the database. None of the Ladies shown are named, they are simply identified by a number. IMO the 1924 ad is doing the same, identifying by a model number and not an actual model Name....or, did You already realise?
I've always insisted that mine and the one Mark shows are true Bulovas! We (as per usual) didn't and still don't have enough early Bulova info and/or ads to back up a positive ID. When I first posted it, certain members classified it as a Frakenbully so I yanked it out of the database. As to the current auction, I saw it and IMO it's a Bulova "Numbered series" watch also. These types of watches don't appeal to most watch buyers (except scrappers) but they've always had my attention ;-) If memory serves me correct , mine was stamped 18K solid gold, but don't hold me to that, as I haven't looked at in the last year or so... :-)
