Does anyone have recomendations / experiences of getting Bulova Accutron Astronauts serviced / repaired here in the UK. I have sadly inherited one from my late father which I would like to get checked out before I start using it.
From asking around and googling the place I keep coming across is the "Croydon Service Centre", www.watchrepairs.co.uk/index.htm. Has anyone experience of this firm and the quality of their work?
My primary focus right now is the quality of the work that gets done and that any replacement parts used are Bulova originals, preferably NOS (new old stock) at that. Given that my watch is from 1966 this last criteria might not always be possible... :-)
