Ok I am trying to translate the hands info we have ...I have an unidentified 7AK in a tank case, dated 1946 in white gold signed properly grey dial white (silver) fils hands...and I need a secs hand (sub dial). From what I can figure I need a #65wi or #65wm, what I dont know is the hand length and height..please all of you semi pros help !! And if you have one, even better.
It appears to be a Director but in white gold fill, grey dial.

Hey Shooter, A pic of the watch and dial they are needed for would help identify what you really need.
Can't help if 7ak is the only hint to go with. I doubt it's white you need, that was mostly reserved to military watches of WWII era. You probably need grey or silver, just guessing here though.

Bulova hands are supplied in different styles and also different lengths. You'll have to know not only the model and style but the size as well. I don't have anything that indicates which model took what size.
