Looks like a Bulova Rocket.  Rocket is pictured with a black colored dial, and at times back in that era dials did matter.

There is one rose dial Rocket in the database. Not only is it the same year, the SN is only 32 away from this SN. I like to think they were made in the same run.

Is the movement a 7AM or a 7AN?

7AM. Tbe same movement that’s in the other Rocket watches. I know it looks a bit like 7AN in the picture but it’s the 7AM.

I thought maybe Bulova stamped the wrong movement model on it. That would make it an extremely rare movement.
