This is my 1967 Bulova Sea King model "EO". It runs and keeps time well. This specific watch will not be for sale, but I may soon have some to put up for sale. I lost the ad that I used to identify this exact watch, but I do believe this is a first for this specific model on the forum. If anyone spots the movement serial #, I will be more than happy to add it. This was a wild find at a local flea for 25$. Good luck to all of you, as this proves nice watches are still in the wild! Happy hunting!
Forgot to mention the hands and hour markers are radium.
I always love dials that have interesting patina. I looked at the 1967 LineBook and didn't find a match but in the 1968 LineBook it is a Sea King "DU", in white it was the "CA". The "EO" wasn't a match.

Edit to say subject watch is 23 jewels so now I am not sure this is a correct ID.

Perhaps the case back is a replacement?

I don't think so. It was probably put together late in 1967 for sale in 1968 or for the Christmas season of 67. Ah I see it was a Christmas gift so yes probably put out for the 67 Christmas season.

A 1968 Sea King "DU" is definitely a good match though. Did they perhaps reuse an earlier years case for this model?

I just noticed that your watch is a 23 jewel movement. So it might not be a Sea King after all. I will do some digging this afternoon.

Sick. I know it isn't a Date King. I think all '67 Date King's were 17 jeweled.

Wait, weren't most automatic Sea Kings with a date function 23 jeweled to account for the extra mechanisms?

I was just looking for Sea Kings but going back and looking at everything it looks like this was a Date King "LL" in the 1967 LineBook. It still doesn't explain the 23 jewel movement. That might be a replacement or we could have another model.
