Watch Description

Hello everyone! Adding another Bulova to the database. Not sure of what this model is, it seems that we have another one listed as unknown. Back of the case is stamped A9 and movement is marked J9, so it seems to definitely be a 1949. It does look very similar to an ad for a 1945 Bulova Augusta, though this one does not have diamonds(so maybe a less expensive variant?). Looking forward to what you all have to say! I researched this model for for some time with no luck.   Unknown for me.

If you look closely at the back cover, the case sm is 438632. The last digit is worn but still visible. And I think the Augusta could be a match for the watch.

The ad does resemble this watch but it can not be the Augusta because the Augusta has diamonds and this watch does not.
