Bulova 1967 Date King

This one is a very nice award watch from Greyhound Bus Lines for 10 Years of Safe Driving awarded to B.C. Blackmer 5/30/69.  Based on the 1967 Linebook BAWD0165 page 32 this is a Date King LL.   The case is yellow gold plate with a stainless case back and M7 date code.   The dial is a sunburts silver, bullseye lines, yellow gold applied hour markers and custom printed with the Greyhound logo and "10 Years Safe Driving". The movement is a 23J 11BLACD with a M9 date code.  Being an award watch I am not surprised the case was from 67 but the movement 69 when the watch was awarded.  I suspect they sat on this for sometime in inventory before the POs came in for the custom print.
