In 1932 Bulova introduced its first ever line of calendar (date) watches that featured the date at the 3 o'clock position. Only a hand full of these 1932 Bulova Calendar watches have been found.
Here is Bulova's next adventure into a calendar watch.
It's dated L1 (1951) both on the case and 21 jewelled 10BMCD movement and only the second in the database.
I'm so glad I was able to purchase, restore and bring this old rare bird back to life.
It sits and wears beautifully on the wrist.
The sweep second hand is a temporary replacement whilst I source an original #65C 10BMCD GF 21
