I have poured over advertisements available for hours without coming up with a perfect match. This is a family "treasure" passed down from one mother to the next. Any insight, thought or idea will be appreciated as I would love to determine a date and name for this beauty. I have never taken the back off to read any additional markings or codes. It has a Speidel elastic band.
A little tricky to ID. First Lady seems a good starting point, but I'm unable to find a match for the shape, jewel count, dimannds and solid gold case....all unique to a particular model which I couldn't find.
I'm at Unknown for now.
I did not find a match to this one, and will go with an Unknown id for now.
Agree, Unknown for me too
I'm stuck at "unknown" as well. It's a beauty and the fact it's solid gold should really narrow it down, but I'm at a loss to find an ad.
With no ad match found I will go with 1969 Bulova Unknown for now.

I believe this to be a 1969 Diamond Empress "A" based on the following 1970 ad. It appears the beveled crystal was replaced.

Nice ad find, Jim.
Ad lists yellow first as variant "A", with white being listed as a different number. I suspect white gold was assigned a different variant.
1969 Diamond Empress noting possible replaced crystal works for me.
1969 Bulova Diamond Empress will be good choice
1969 Bulova Diamond Empress works for me. Nice ad find Jim.
Hmmm, I'm not so sure, the design we see in that advert is not the bevel of the crystal, it's the watch bezel.
1969 Bulova Unknown.
By the way Carol - congrats on a wonderful family heirloom, I am a big fan of family treasures!
