I believe that watch is 1979 Accutron Date & Day "G"
EDIT: by manufacture date of movement fixed production year to 1970, watch have wrong caseback
In reply to I guess I'm back to Day and by Geoff Baker
Kens first ad above (G) does not state or picture luminous dots, does say gilt dial.
Second ad (F) states and shows luminous dots, silver dial.
The tuning fork in subject watch is not shown in either of those two ads.
Subject watch has luminous dots.
So can we "guess" based on silver dial vs gilt dial? ...or do we use the presence/absence of luminous dots?
Will and what my advert, which one put when I insert the watch ?? I think that corresponds fairly accurately. Full advert
In reply to Will and what my advert, by jabs
Yes that Full advert does match the watch, right down to luminous dots and champagne dial.
I made a mistake stating there was a tuning fork on subject watch dial. I was looking at another example, so disregard "no tuning fork on dial" comments.
The only difference I see between that ad and subject watch is 7 days and a couple hours :)
I'm good with "G" variant.
