Sweet Bulova Jet Clipper complete with inner and outer box, guarentee book, and jewelers tag. Very unusual dial that is somewhat like a scallop/clam shell? Or a sunburst from the bottom up?
i don't think its a clipper,,,
I would agree Ellierose.
The 'JET CLIPPER' is advertised as being new for 1962 and the Case design differs.

Go back to your made up 1921 watch thread.
thanks, i was joking at first but then i did realize that the jet is different then the Clipper...
1962 'JET CLIPPER'

Plainsmen,
The 'JET CLIPPER' inner box will have the same design on the lid as showing on Your outer box.

Oh cool.... lets see your example of this.

The outer lid of the inner box will also have the 'Jet' graphic as shown on the outer lid of the outer box and the inner lid of the inner box.
Might not be the original display case. The outer box has the jet. I wish we could see the full dial on the example you present Mark.
It also might be ther wrong outer box for the subject watch and the display case is correct.
Aloha ,
I just joined this forum although I am active on a few other forums , and since I have a few vintage Bulovas in my collection including Accutrons , Aerojets , Clippers and others , why not join the party ?
I saw this particular post when I was researching a watch I aquired that was advertised as a 1960 Jet Clipper , but after reading this post it seems that it in fact is not a Jet Clipper .
What ever it is , although I have quite a few watches in my collection , I find that this is one of my favorites .
Here is a look at my " Jet Clipper "....
