Snagged this... I think I've seen this case before on a Bulova but can't remember where. Looks to be 50's - 60's via the dail. Don't recognize that crown either. ZERO information from the seller other than it doesn't work and the crystal is broken.
But.... for less than a large popcorn at the movie theater... I'll take a shot!

My husband was given this watch and has had it in his tool box a couple years. I am including a picture of the watch face. From my amatuer research, it appears to me it could be a merchandising watch. The image below the Bulova name on the face is definitely of a pig and it has 6 small red or orange squares on each side of the pig in a checkerboard pattern. There is no company name listed. The only words on the face besides the Bulova name are Swiss on the very bottom and Waterproof.
I have found this watch and need to find more details about it. Here is what I do know about it. It is from 1941 with a "star" stamp on the movement which is 10AX 17J. On the inside of the back cover it is stamped with the following Bulova, 14K Rolled Gold Plate Bezel, Stainless Back, New York, 11523 "hand etched". There are also other numbers that hand been hand etched inside of the back cover, 14421 HR or AR, 5 or S - 308, H - 1185, The back cover is stamp 1088241. The face is bronze in color and the hands are blue(ish) in color.
Since Jerin had a good catch here is one I am waiting to arrive.

For $10 plus $10 for shipping on a batch of "Steam Punk" stuff I may have gotten lucky with what looks to be a 1926 or earlier conquerer case. Will be interesting to see what movement pieces are in the box.

Snag of the day... 1951 signed case and signed 10BM... unknown. I know shooter had one awhile ago but I don't think we ever got it named.
I don't recall ever seeing on that had engraving on the lugs like this one though. Also it looks as though someone either rubbed the Bulova off the dial or it was redialed at one time or another and someone didn't have the die's to get the Bulova on there. The numerals do match Shooters dial though.

Looked on website and marking show 1930-1940. It is 17J 6AH is all i know on it. It has a clamshell like opening to reveal the watch and it is silver with rhinestones matbe, they are not real diamonds i do not believe. Amazingly the watch still works and keeps time perfect. Can anyone help me please? Apparently i cannot attach the pic because i am an idiot but i can email it to you. Please help if possible. Beautiful watch just need to know something about it.

I have narrowed it down to the 1950-52s.
If anyone has any insight or needs clarification on the pictures, please let me know! I am mostly interested in the year, make and model of the watch as well as a value.
