Another curio for you Bulova hardliners out there, a metal printer's stamp circa 1963. Nice ad for the DB too!

Hi all ,
I have just got hold of a Bulova 666 and i brought it from a respectible watch maker in Australia ( i have posted a few photo,s of it ) i noticed when looking at the specs it said Omega movement ? as i am still learning about movements, collectable watches , ect . I just wanted to know if this was a mistake . but now i don,t think so . i just had a look at a 1940 unknown and it says it has a Omega movement .so can any tell me did Bulova use Omega movements and are they more collectable and how can u tell What sort of movement ???

I posted this a while ago, but do not know if anyone noticed. Just thought I'd post again as it is a more modern update on interchangeable parts than the one in catalogs.
Dated 1940's? " Say Buddy, Got a match? " Bulova marketing never fails to amaze me!

Thanks Admin for continuing to work on the extremely useful (in development) "Model Search" feature found on the main vintage ads homepage. One can chose the model name and get a return for numerous ads showing this model in a single search! Great feature. I did a search for the generic "Goddess of Time" and it returned 35 ads which mentioned this series. Is that cool.
Just a reminder that this site has a great many wonderful vintage Bulova adverts that have been purchased from site donations and donated by genereous members over the years.
These vintage adverts not only give us an insight as to how Bulova marketed their watches over the last 90 years but it is also a wealth on knowledge when it comes to identifying these old beaurties.
