Here is a quick preview of some new ads I sent Admin....This was from a "Bow Tie" watch that I bought at a local estate auction.

No date on the Jeweler flier, but I would date it as 1969-70.

The watch below has been tentatively identified on another website as a ' Major ' . The movement is an 8AE, 17 jewels and has a date code for 1939. The case is 10k gold filled and numbered 9126038. The strap looks as if it might be an original. Would be very interested in the opinions of the experts on this site. thanks

This particular Watch rolled through Our 2nd favorite website some time ago, most may have seen it, someone here may have bought it.

What appears to be an original Dial is hallmarked with both the 'SEA KING' and wrist alarm insignias with Dial characterists pointing toward a 'SEA KING' model.

In lieu of what is showing, to Me, the Watch raises a specific question:

Wrist Alarm - stand alone Model or function.

I recently began taking care of my 86yr old Grandmother, & while cleaning out some junk next to her furnace, I found a cream color cardboard box. I saw "Bulova", on the box, showed it to her, & she told me to take it. Inside the cardboard box is another beautiful plastic two toned box, & the 10k gold filled watch lays inside. It has a manual, as well as a small gold label. The original price tag of $95 is attached. 

On the left is a 1955 Bulova 23 "Calendar" on the right is a fabulous 1927 Lone Eagle 5000.

OH....almost forgot..... that's plainsman standing behind the LE and me standing behind the "Calendar". Photo was snapped this past Wednesday night (in an undisclosed location) shortly after the two of us had our fill of chicken and beer.

I have found these 2 watches hiding in the house and tried to open the backings to get a serial number, but could get them open. they are sealed tight.  I went on to Bulova's facebook page and posted the picture.  They directed me to here, and told me to post it under vintage Bulova's to get more info.  I was looking to find out aprox. year and value of the watches.

We've longed believed that many models had different names depending on the country of sale. The Canadian models inparticular come to mind. Here's a few American Vs Canadian models.
