Vintage Bulova information sharing

I was recently lucky enough to purchase the ultimate Bulova Lone Eagle prize....an original 1927 facsimile of the letter Capt. Charles A. Lindbergh sent Bulova thanking them for the prize money and watch offered to the first pilot/s to cross the Atlantic.

It took me a few years to find the watch, a few years more to find the box and now the family is finally back together with the addition of the original letter that came  with the watch and box.

This isn't mine, I just got permission to use this photo. Has anyone of you ever seen a 23 jewel 11AC movement? Although it doesn't show in the photo, the owner says it has an "N1" date code stamped on it.

I am looking for reference material on the Bulova 11 series including 11AL, etc.

I searched for one of these swords for years. As there were only 100 said to have been produced, it could be said that they are scarce. One of our past panel members, Greg (oldticker) has one but my inquiries as to it's availability went unanswered. This summer I found one in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. A short negotiation later, it was mine. I don't display many Bulova items in my home office, generally I only have a half dozen or so watches out on display but this beauty is on the wall with a couple other Bulova pieces I treasure.

I resently found someone named Jason with  isenterprises85@yahoo.com on ebay he has told me he has both NOS, and used parts for Bulova according to him he has LOTS.

On ebay I think he goes by WWS , World Wide Source and his # is 586-819-6041

I have a collection of over 150 Bulova watches which I keep in two display stand which hold 80 watches and are mounted on individual plastic  stands. The watches dated from the 1920's to the 1980's. I keep a record of each watch in A4 folders with photos and as much information as I can find. I am trying to put together an indexing system in watch date order by numbering the watch stands and watches and then cross referencing this with my A4 folders.

Looking at 1970's Bulova's we have both Accutron and Accuquartz. Can someone explain the difference, WHY would Bulova use 2 technologies, and which is more reliable/desirable/

I have a pack of 15 advertising cards for the early Accutron watches. Each card measures 5 1/2 x 3 inches. Each one has a four-color picture of a watch on the front, and a description of the watch on the reverse. There is also some boilerplate on the reverse (e.g. "Only the Accutron is guaranteed 99.9977% accurate on your wrist (not just in a test laboratory).") that is the same on all these cards. The descriptions of the watches are different on each card.

I'd like to discuss this statement by Bulova, that is currently listed on their website as part of their Legacy section.

I have my Great Grandmothers bulova women's watch,  things i find when i open the back latch is 15 jewel, 6af, serial # 2223955 (I think that is correct) also i was told that the inside is 19 K gold.

that is all i know, i have searched and searched trying to find a matching watch with no luck. please see pictures hoping for some help.
