Snorkel

Unbelievable score for a lot of watches for $25.   I almost fainted when I saw the Bulova Snorkel with the original bracelet.   This is a 1967 Bulova Snorkel "G" in stainless steel with a white/silver dial and luted hour markers.  The movement is an 11ALACD with an M7 date code.  The inside of the case back also has an M7 along with a 386-4 number but I could not final any serial number on this watch.  The bezel does not rotate and is in need or black enamel.  Runs great and is super clean overall.  An the original bracelet to boot.   I wanted one of these "Devil Divers"  for some time and can't believe my luck.  I also got another diver, Seiko and Waltham from the lot too.  Great watch.

What I believe I have here is a 1968 Snorkel, however it does not say "Snorkel" on the dial. Everything else points to a Snorkel, but I am unsure of the variation. Date code definitely puts it at 1968. Some Snorkels have "Selfwinding" on the dial and mine has "Automatic". Was Bulova inconsistent with what was put on the dials or do these slight variations appear at certain times in the manufacturing run? This has a tropical dial, creamy lume that still glows, "ballerina" case back. I picked it up yesterday and have been wearing it ever since. It's keeping great time

When I purchased this watch, I thought this watch was a Clipper; then I believed to be a Commodore, but now I'm not so sure. Therefore, I will need your help, to identify this model from Bulova. God bless you.
