Rarity of Models - Database Counter?

I appreciate all of the work everyone does on this website.  My question is since the website collects all of the Bulova watch models reported by members is there a master list of models that lists the number of watches reported by serial number. The serial number can remain confidential but it would be really interesting to see how many reported by model.  That way rarity can be documented.

Bulova parts interchangeable

Hello everyone,

this is my first posts here :) I will be the owner of Buloa 8AE movement soon and I would like to ask if other models from this series (like 8AH or 8AD) share the same parts. Reason is that I am finding plenty of them as NOS on eBay and that would make restorations easier.

Yet one more question, do you have experience with non Bulova (maybe Gruen or Waltham) cases for the vintage models that fit good?

Thank you a lot for help.

With kind regards.

Piotr

Bulova "movement" on dial ?

Greetings, my 92 year old father just gave me his watch that he says he bought in the early 50s. It's a rectangular case, has a Bulova marked crown, and the back reads 10k rolled gold Bulova. Also on the back there is a number 9528937. But the dial is marked Bulova "movement" and has blued hands. So I'm wondering if this is a real Bulova or a "jobber" watch or what. Wish I could post a picture but I can't get the file size down to what this site requires. Any comments are welcomed. Thanks Jim

Hello ! New to the forum!! Just acquired an Excellency "DD" without it's original box and wondered if anyone knows the correct presentation box it would have come in. Would like to start looking for one. Have seen some marked "Excellency" but are not sure if they are ladies only  boxes or if they came as a unisex model - or- if the men's even had  a specific one or if they came in the general "Bulova Fifth Avenue New York" that is common.  By the way - love the website and thank all of you in advance for any information!!

Hello everyone and thank you for approving my account request.

I am here looking for knowledge regarding a Bulova time piece i acquired.

It has a 7750 movement and the case looks very much like Breitling Chronomat.

I know nothing about it except the movement. Pictures below.

Any info would be appreciated.
