Hello again tripleJ. 1979 is right at the limit of our Bulova expertise. We stop our endeavors at 1980 because we really run out of information at that point ( and Bulova itself tends to have some information available). I just can't find a model match to this beauty. I see a string in a couple of the photos, was there a tag attached to it? If so what is printed on the tag?
For now - Unknown
Oh yeah, I guess I forgot to add that in the pictures. One side says GHHH 17J, and the other says 11558.
I'm guessing that 11558 will be the model #. By this point in Bulova history most watches didn't have names but model numbers only. Pure speculation but GHHH was the code for the price $89.99.
Can you add a photo of the hang tag too please?

Yes, I would say that's the model - 11558. Thanks for getting the picture uploaded.
I'm good with 11558. Nice watch and I bet if/when we do find an ad, the price will be $89.99. Good sluthing and speculating on the GHHH too!
