Watch Description

This is a beautiful oval watch with white dial and roman numeral hour markers.   The case is 10kt yellow gold Rolled Gold plate with an N9 date code.  The movement is a 6CL and appears to be an M3 date code.  Could have come from the factory like this or it could be a replacement movement.  The bracelet is original and has two black suede inserts.  Came without a crown and broken stem and happiness is having the parts in your parts drawer.   Based on the 1976 Line Book this is a 1979 Bulova Minute "X" which would make this a first for the database.

Well, that is certainly an unusual one, nice pick-up! I'm going to agree with you and the linebook.

1979 Minute Man "X" on the original band noting discrepancy with movement date.

Nice one with the original band!  I got one of these from Ken right before my trip to England and forgot to put it in the DB.  I will have to do that soon.  Nice ladies watch as well ;-)  Almost pushing it to Non-Conforming but I think this is a one model case so I am good with that.

Thank you Kathy. This is actually a quite large watch and it’s a man’s watch. As you say it would make a great ladies watch.  Interestingly, I cannot get that original bracelet over my hand.

Case 2973 came with a 6CT so I'd say a 1963 movement is a replacement. 1979 Bulova Minuteman X is OK
