No additional info on this one, other than it is a really neat looking watch in Top Condition!
That is a sharp looking watch! I didn't find an ad that looks like a match.

Hard to find a match to these late 70s models. Most likely it has a reference number instead of a name. The number may be in the lower part of the dial near the 6 marker. Nice looking watch!

Is that something you've noticed? I know Timex watches did something similar, but was unaware Bulova also did it.
The subject watch looks the have 'T.S W. Germany' on the dial near the 6.

Timex numbers were a combination of case/model number I think; with last two digits being date (75, etc.). With a date of 1979, and W.Germany under the 6 position, I would be inclined to think this is a numbered model as opposed to a named one.
Unknown for me.

I was thinking I had some watches from the 70s with numbers at the bottom of the dial, but looks like 1980 is my earliest. It is my assumption that the numbers represent a model number; case numbers are typically listed on the caseback.
Yes, I see now the Germany on the dial of subject watch and not a number.
Nice looking watch, alas...

I have the same watch! Mine is a retirement watch from the US Post Office, marked 1979. Mine has a gold band and USPS engraving on the back, but identical otherwise.
This looks like a good match to this ad. 1979 Bulova Classic - The Town Talk (Alexandria, Louisiana) · 13 May 1979
