Watch Description

Hello, I am looking for information about this watch so I can obtain a better metal band.  This was my father's watch and I would like to give it to my 25 year old son for his birthday at the end of June.  I appreciate any help that you can provide.

Found the model number at this stage and still looking to see if there was a model variant lettering, showing the original blue padded corfam strap.

Would you happen to know if there any any Bulova Accutron bands that can be added as a replacement  I think my father replaced the blue band right away because I always remember a elastic metal band ut I would prefer a not elastic style.  Or let me know if you have any ideas about where to look further.  Thanks, Cynthia

I would start by going to eBay and searching "blue corfam watch" , just pay attention to width.

I was hoping to get a Bulova metal band not like the elastic one that is currently on it.  I think it is an 18 mm.  It looks like a

BULOVA ACCUTRON 2181 on ebay but I am not certain of the band size.  If I am not getting the original confab band, I'd prefer different metal band.  Do any of you have any ideas of how to find out the band size and if a metal band would work, something similar to this style: Bulova Accutron 2-Piece Stainless Steel 18mm nos Vintage Watch Band.  The ebay seller does not think that it will work with the watch though.

I guess I can go to any good jeweler store and see or contact the Veteran's Bulova site to see if they would be able to help.
