Case is 18K gold and says M5. Sorry can find much more information and I have searched! Please help, Thank you!
I did find one on your site looks very similar, however it is listed as a 1976 219.
It would be very helpful if you could get the case back off. If you have a local jewler he could probably do it for $10.00 or less.

This is what I was able to get from the store. It appears to be a 281D with a case date code of M5. One of my confusions is I was told that the 218D was not made in 1965. Hope you can shed some light, and any more information about the watch would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!!!
218D (date) would be the correct movement, and 1965 was the first year for the 218 movement, so this watch looks to be correct.
Here is a ad from 1966 showing a Calendar "C", not a exact case or dial match to your watch, but you can bet it was called a Calendar, the letter variant so far is unknown.
Very close, even has the horizontal line on the dial.
All Accutrons with the relevant functions in new ads are either Accutron Calendar, followed by variant letter, with just the date function, or Accutron Day-Date/Date And Day, followed by variant letter, with day and date functions.

Thank you so much... So, glad you all told me it was a Calendar. Now how do I find the variant letter? The other thing I noticed is that "Accutron" is just below the 12 and the symbol, which I have not seen either. Thanks again!
Bulova produced an almost unlimited number of variations of Accutrons, in terms of case design and dials. Some 218 date movements are marked 2181 while others, like yours are marked 218D. There are several 218 movements taht are followed by a letter to designate their sub caliber. Through the years, Bulova produced more variations (sub calibers) of the 218 than all their other 5 Accutron movements put together.
Accutron 218 "Calendar" from me. Unknown variant or "model number" thereof. Again easy to "do" w/ site mechanics/consistency. We enter "Calendar" in the variant field for now. Maybe we find out in the future it's a 218 "Calendar G", for example, and at that time we just add the "G" to the variant field following "Calendar".
