Watch was presented to my father in 1978. It passed to me in the late 90's. Was serviced in 2002. Case and crystal are not in the best condition. I have resisted restoration as I would like to keep and use it as my late father did. Biggest issue is that the strap was missing a couple of links and as such was very tight. A local watch repairer inserted an 'expansion' link. But this makes it uncomfortable to wear. Would very much like to source some original links to replace those lost. Update: Had the watch serviced and 'lightly' restored. New correct crystal. Hands relumed and case lightly polished. The original crystal did not have a magnifier over the date. Thanks to a forum member I was able to source a NOS replacement.
Nice, I prefer the 1960 plains posted but given the family ties, I'd put this one on 1st too!Best of luck finding the missing links but all good things come to those who are patient. I'm certain you'll get then one day.
Where are you missing links, the wide or narrow end? I may have an old band in my pile of put aways, I will look. I will need to know the width in mm of the links you need. If I have them, they are yours for the freight. PM me at JP
Sweet watch, the green / white is nice - I would classify this as an Accutron Day and Date.

No, it's an Accutron Snorkle 666! Quite nice and a little on the rare side. Very desirable.
Thanks for the comments guys, JP im sent :) Fingers crossed.
The Accutrons "Deep Sea" has Deap Sea 666Ft on the dail. Perhaps we are safe to call this an Accutron "Snorkel"
I don't think we have any on site basis for naming this watch Snorkel. I am aware that Bulova cased their non Accutron watches in this same case and marked the dials Snorkel, in fact I have one in blue and white, other than the dial markings (and obviously the movement) it is identical. I do not believe we can assume that this watch was named Snorkel because it looks like one that was. It is a different watch. Bulova made and advertised a mechanical watch in the mid sixties called Snorkel. All the 666 watches in the seventies that had "Snorkel" on the dial bore other names, like Oceanographer. The 666 Accutrons do also appear as "Deep Sea" as Stephen has pointed out. I would accept that name other than Day and Date.
Accutron Deep Sea, variant letter to be determined.
I'm good with Accutron Deep Sea unknown variant for now. I'm pretty sure we have such a beast in the model drop down menu :)
Incorrect movement?
Crown not at four position, so this means not a 218.
