The 'Funk' is strong in this one. I picked it up a couple of years ago but only recently got around to servicing it. It is a NOS 1973 Minute Man on the original brown lizard skin strap. It has a gold brushed satin finish on the top and sides and is highly polished between the lugs.
The earth tone orange and brown colors that fade to a darker tone near the dial edge are straight out of the seventies. The case (3261) has a stainless steel back with a 23 jewel 11AOACB (dated N3) with a quickset date. This is one where the ABC catalog is wrong about the movement, it lists the 11AOACD for this case, which is a date only movement, not day and date. The listed crystal is also incorrect, it lists the 1513F1 when it should be the 1513FL ('FL' for Flange). The sticker on the back lists the 12008 model and $117 price. For some reason the last 3 digits of the serial are dropped and not in line with the first 4 letter and numbers.
Stunning is an understatement.
