I have been searching for a orange Snorkel "V" in good shape for awhile and found two. This is the keeper of the two. It Has just been serviced and relumed and is in great overall condition. I have replaced the bracelet. This will get lots of wrist time.
I'm wearing mine as I type these words. This one gets the most wrist time of any watch I own. From the background I deduce that you do your own relume, are you a watchmaker too?
Oceanographer V, fabulous!

No I didn't do the relume. I sent them out to Kent Parks. These are pictures that he sent after he completed the relume. I missed having lume on a watch I wear everyday.

Oceanographer Snorkel "V".
All 666 feet depth rated Oceanographers are known as Snorkels, as per ads.

While its a little early for this watch, the latest price list cumulative models section we have (spring 1964) shows several Snorkel variants, but there are NO Oceanographers listed. Below are snorkel variants and the entire O section from the 1964 list.
We have 1970 ad for Oceanographer., and the watch has Snorkel, 666 feet, and Oceanographer on the dial.
We also have ad w/ model name "Snorkel", like in this 1968 ad.

Proof that Bulova called the 666 feet tested models "Snorkel". First two lines of each ad description.

Was wondering if you still have the bezel for the second example that you did not restore?
