Looks right to me

Hoping to find more info about this watch - passed down to me and I dont know anything about it.
The 'CL' variant that you reference is a similar design and a close match to your watch, but it incorporates lugs and a removable band; whereas, your watch looks to have the band connected to the case. I did not find an alternate ad to provide us with a correct variant; so this will likely be identified as an Accutron Calendar. The caseback has some different markings on the outside that do not appear to say Bulova. However, the inside caseback markings look to be correct and the number L-138 is listed in the ABC parts book, and should contain the 2181 movement (which your watch does). What all is marked on the outside of the caseback?

Thank you; it would make sense that the mark is N0 (zero), but we also see the N-1, so perhaps two date stamps?

Is that normal?

Accutron Calendar, no variant
Sharp looking watch gold, Accutron watches had been in production for about ten years when this one was made. This is the second generation movement (called a model 218) that features the winding stem at the four o'clock position. The first model (214) didn't have a winding stem but featured a setting lever on the case back. Bulova made thousands of Accutrons over the years in hundreds of variations, some are still very much in demand on the collector market. A solid gold model is nice to see. It's a very classy look for the 1970's.

Thank you! Its something that I didn't know much about, received the watch in a bag and an appraisal from the 1980's. I appreciate all of the advice and info from everyone! Now, I have to make a big decision on if its worth selling or not.
