Dear Sir or Madam: My name is Paul, I purchased my Bulova in 2005. I got it from a watch maker in Rancho Mirage, California. Now retired and out of business. All I know is that it is a 1970. I have tried to find one similar for identification, but to no avail. I am not a watch maker, nor do I feel comfortable with opening the back to expose the movement. So forgive the lack of pictures. I gave you two pictures of the front so one, you can see the condition of the face and the other for detail. Thank You all for looking at my Bulova, I look forward to hearing from you. Best Regards; Paul Airhart
I'm pretty sure what you have is a Bulova Sea King.
Looks like you have yourself a Clipper "AG" model, Paul. It has some distinct markers at 6,9,and 12. Without seeing the movement, will have to go with the case date code of 1970; sometimes the movements in these 70s watches have different date codes (from what I have seen). I like the look of this watch!

Hello Paul, welcome to myBulova, this is a great looking 1970's Bulova. I love the style of this era of watches. Be sure to have it professionally serviced if you wear it and it should last at couple more generations.
I agree with Ken on the Clipper AG ID.

Great pickup on the advert. Nive match for the Bulova Clipper 'AG'

I'm just no good at this! Lol
Wow, thank you all very much. The advert is great. I found a watchmaker close to me, when he goes in to clean and lube, I'll get some pictures. I'm going to be on the hunt for a similar stainless band for it. Very exciting, thanks again.
