Case measures 33m lug to lug x 25.5mm non inclusive of the Crown using Calipers. Black Dial shows Luminous style Hour and Minute hands and a Sweep Seconds Hand on a sub Dial. Vintage display ad Dated 1945
Thanks, I have a 1943 I just updated. What was the source for the name Tildon?
Wayne,

GS Crystal.
"REGULATOR" is a center seconds model with a printed circular center track. "TILDON" adds the sub seconds dial.
Very handsome watch Mark and up to your normal fantastic standards. Do we have an ad for this beauty?
In reply to Very handsome watch Mark and by JP
based on last photo...looks like it's part of a Mr and Mrs pair. Nice
Also dates to 1944, with case SN.
Old entry in need of an update,
Thanks!
Cool watch, Mark.

EDIT: Mark, is the pic with two watches actually the same watch, but photoshopped? Only saying as they both have the same wear marks between the lugs, also is that radium specks on the numbers? They certainly look like the numbers used under some radium coated ones, I had the same ones on my Air Warden.
Definitely the same watch in the two watch pic. Same radium paint slip on the hour hand, same mark on the dial between 10 an 11, hands in identical positions in both pics, same dust specks on crystal to the right of the 9.
You sly old dog!
Unconfirmed for Tildon.
