1970 NOS Bulova Sea King - At least when I bought it a couple months ago, that's what I logged it into my records as. Now I can't find anything back on it. Might end up being a 1970 NOS UNKNOWN. Very mod brown and white dial with date window, mounted on an nice Spiedel bracelet. Stainless steel back marked "Heavy Gold Electroplate Bezel". Looks great when paired with my powder blue leisure suit and white bucs.

Looks a lot like a 72 President C. IMO it is in the president class of 71 to 73.
Any info on the movement?
Could be a number of models, Sea King, Golden Clipper, Oceanographer.
Agree with Admin, the Clippers had whales on them also...and I can't find a ad like it...
I think we went down this road before. The whale doesn't necessarily mean it is a Sea King. It was later used on watches that had the watertite lable on the case back, if I am correct.
Probably a Clipper of some sort or a Date King.
Only found one ad for a Sea King with date window, possibly erroneous.
'UNKNOWN'

Same from me, UK
UK for now
The Whale was not tied to any particular model but was used to indicate that the watch had been test and certified as water resistant to 100m or 333ft.
Unknown for me too.
