So many questions about this watch. What is it? Has the N0 stamp on the back indicating 1970, but I've been through the models and adverts from '68 to '72 to no avail. Has the top lugs and textured finish of a 1970 Accutron Calendar, and the bottom looks like an Oceanographer or Jet Star. And what about this band? Pretty sure it doesn't belong to this watch, but any ideas what it is supposed to go with?
Case measures 34mm across the top and tapers down to 20mm at the bottom. 42mm from top of lug to bottom point of the case.
Final question is what would be the proper battery to instal?
I really appreciate all the help and thanks to everyone out there.
Dane
Great looking watch Dane, very distinctive. I think the shape of the case is intended to invoke the Accutron tuning fork ( turned upside down). I like the rays incised into the bezel. I think it looks more like the Accutron Calendar "X" model than the "BG." That ad clearly shows the seconds railroad track that is not visible in the advert for the BG. The only thing missing are the luminous dots shown in the advert.
Someone knows which battery, Seems like there is a 1.35v battery available now with a retaining holder on it, maybe try google?

In reply to I agree it is closer to the by Dane K
Closer match to the "X"; the "BG" uses numerals on the dial but the cases appear the same; does the subject watch dial have no luminous dots or markers at all, or signs that it once did? If so, why would it have luminous hands; that would seem uncommon to not have both.
