Classic Bulova Stainless Steel 23 j beauty fitted with heavy mesh Accutron bracelet. Timeless, my daily driver, this watch has probably spent more time on my wrist that any watch I've owned.

I'm thinking this is not a "Bulova 23" model, but an uknown watch housing a 23 j movement. Geoff, I'm guessing you got the 1969 date from date code on case back?
You know this band will forever haunt me don't you Geoff :-)
One day....

I just noted the Accutron symbol on the clasp. A nice match for this watch.
I wonder if they had a plain 'Bulova' one as well?

.....and you know I paid $12 USD for this watch AND that bracelet? You also know that the "C" bracelet was imprinted "Bulova" and not the Accutron key? Someday........
Mainspring replaced on the "C" yet?
Will, I'm skeptical that the watch is named correctly. I'm pretty sure it's a 23 though, as I recall I checked the jewel count when I had Keiji service it. Next time I see him I'll have him pop it open and recheck.
Reopened for further identification at request of Panel
Why was this watch reopened? Has there been an advert found? I cannot find a match.

This was one of the five or six Bob requested late last week. It had been published as a Bulova 23.

Day/Date function may not correspond to Bulova 23's. Ditto tuning fork on dial.
I checked an no ad match either. Unknown.
