Case 316-1 is considered a true factory Spaceview. Your watch looks in amazing condition. Congratulations on having such a fine example.

Thank you. Yes I know that the 316-1 case is a Spaceview one, but.... Is it not easy to put a 316-1 case on a converted watch?

Anything is possible. I'm not aware of any way to tell if the other components used in your watch are replacements or originals.

We can at least say that cases stamped 316-1 are known to be correct for factory released Spaceviews. The case is the determining factor.
