Managed to pick up this watch on the cheap. It looks to be 1966 Bulova Date King which I believe might be the first for the DB with this dial configuration. This one does not have the quadrant dial and the second register is recessed. I could not find an ad with this particular configuration. The case is a yellow gold 10KT RGP and is the same case used in the Engineer and Date King models. The movement is a 11ALD 17J movement with an M6 date code as does the yellow gold plated case back. The dial is a frosted gold with applied yellow gold hour markers and a very recessed seconds register. Needs a new crystal and some case wear but a nice watch. I believe it to be an unknown variant of the Bulova Date King. Including an ad showing the AE Variant.
Dang it was my own find too. Yes it is clearly a 1966 Date King "NX"
