Nice looking Clipper model. There are a couple of ads with this black dial, but the variant is not 100% determinable, looks to be the 'P' or something similar like 'F'. Pricelists do not provide any assistance.
I would go with Clipper 'P', as both ads have similar looking know letter P, where the F looks different in those ads.
Hmmm...not sure. Certainly either the Bulova Clipper "F" or "P".
Could certainly be an 'F" looking at this below enlargement.

I would also guess "F"
Hi Cameron, welcome to myBulova. Looks like YOUR Bulova is making quite an impression on our 'advertising copy interpretation' department! It's a great looking watch, appears to be in excellent condition, thanks for sharing it.
I'm in agreement with the "Clipper" ID but am holding out on a variant designation (F or P) until MI6 and the CIA analysts have weighed in.....
The 'F' in the ad is clearly different, and I'm seeing a muddy 'P', so Clipper 'P' for me.
I'm good with Clipper, but not sure about the "P" variant.
So...Tentative Clipper "P" from me.
Looking back at the super enlargement above I note that the two "P's" in Clipper do come a bit further down than the letter in question - note the red line to demonstrate. To Ken's point though, the "F" seems to be a different model than presented here.
Clipper, no variant
Recap to date
Clipper - Ken, Geoff
Clipper F - Jaroslav, Admin (tentative?)
Clipper P - Reverend, Will
We need a couple tie breakers!

I'm in for the 'P' variant
