Watch Description

Here is my Ambassador – 30 Jewels, an other one of my favourite Bulovas, nice 60s case shape, interesting lugs, microrotor caliber.... I don't  know if it can be a specific Ambassador model or just generic Ambassador ?  Stainless steel “cushion” shape case  -  Caliber : Bulova 12EBACD (Buren 1322) - microrotor  -  Date : 1965 (M5, inside back case and M5 caliber)  -  Case reference (inside) : 509

Size : 36mm without the crown, 36.8mm with crown  -  Height : 10 mm  -  Lug width : 18mm  -  Crown : Bulova

Thanks again  Roby  -  Milan, Italy

I like the cushion shaped models of this time period. Your watch has been previously ID'd HERE and HERE as generic Ambassador.

Like the two previous, yours lacks a movement import code and bears case markings that indicate it was likely produced in Europe for the non-US market. It very likely had a variant designation, but without non-US ad documentation it's impossible to say at this time.

1965 Ambassador it is

Thanks for the comment

Being the other 2 posts from 2012 and 2016 I was wondering if there were any updates since then

Thanks again

This one is listed in our 1966/67 Swiss International Linebook 164.

Well played, Ken. I didn't ever realize that the 66/67 linebook was the Swiss edition. I learned something new; it's a good day..

1965 Bulova Ambassador is a good match.  Awesome watch and a great movement.  Interesting how Ambassador and 30 Jewels are inverted on this dial compared to the line book.  I guess they changed the dial wording around some times.  Too bad we don't have "Bulova Dial" variants like Rolex LOL.
