Watch Description

Preliminarily calling this a 1928 Envoy.  The ad is 1929 and to me it looks just like it.

Case is rolled gold plate.  Its marked Bulova New York with a Jan 11, 1927 patent date.  The movement is a 15J 10AN, consistent with others in the database.

A little mark in the upper left hand corner of the face but otherwise, its pretty clean, I think.

I agree with it being a 1928 Bulova Envy. Does it have its movement dust cover?

Well found Tom. When I look at watches from this vintage my eye goes first to the crown. This watch not only has the original but it is in very good condition. I look for the tiny groove cut around the circumference, when it's visible it is apparent that the watch has seen precious few winds. The case and dial also are a testament that this watch has seen very little wrist time.
