I inherited this watch many years ago, it hasn't been worn mutch and is in excellent condition. I have a few questions: 1) On the back it says "10k Gold Filled", but in the original box, one of the advertising tabs says 14k. Is this watch 14k White Gold? (Photos included) 2) Are these real diamonds on the face? 3) Is this the original band ... it is a 3rd party band? Did Bulova make their own bands, or rely on 3rd party co's? Any additional insight about this watch would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance. Lee
Hi, your lovely watch is not 14K, it just probably is not the original box, or the buyer may have been given the wrong box at point of sale.
This is a Beau Brummel, and a good looking one too.
Beautiful Beau Brummel "AJ" and yes they will be real diamonds.

Good looking watch, excellent condition! Gold Filled is like a heavy gold plate, and lasts much longer than electroplated.
Beau Brummel AJ it is.
Not the "AJ", as it only had 17 jewels.
The "SS" is closer, has 23 jewels like the subject, but the ad says "in yellow or white".
I see no "TT" in the price lists, so it was either this "SS" for both, or there is another designation not yet seen. The "QQ" and "RR" are yellow and white respectively for the 21 jewel model in this same case.

I added 2 more photos. I think it is the "SS".
The band is made by a company called Kestenmade. It looks like the watchband in the advertisment above. Is it possible that Bulova sold these watches with 3rd party watchbands?
Yes, they used lots of bands from different makers.
Looks like the original to me too. Great stuff!
Beau SS it is, beautiful watch.
Looks like the "SS" to me. Nice watch!
