This is my $12 Bulova..won her at auction on Ebay..2 deep scratches on Crystal. I could run my finger nail through it they were so deep...But , Polywatch is some good stuff. I put a nice Admiral expansion band on her and she looks good..I believe this is open through crystal..cant find a place to separate case. would like to clean up the dial alittle..a little discoloration on the hour Markers..but , another great addition to my Jr. Collection...Uh, anyone know the name of this one...Love the black dial, and my sub second dial
How many watches does a Guy need...lol
I was looking at the 1961 Bulova ad. I thinki it could be a Sea King. It is slim. I see one with similar lugs..None with the sub second dial..Loving my black dial...My Admiral expansion band is appropriate for her. what do you think fellows.
In reference to your question of "How many watches does a guy need", It's subjective. I've personally got over 500 at present. More commonly known as "Bulova addiction"!
God help me!
Well, just got hooked....I will just call you the "Watch Father", lol... I will wind mine at times, just a dozen. Cant imagine you wanting to have the correct time on all of yours...thats alot of winding...Must be nice to have a watch for each day of the year and more....Have a great day.
It's a addiction, I'm just trying to keep them out of the scrappers hands! I hate seeing all the history melted down for a quick buck...
My Dad's philosophy " It'll come in handy, even if I never use it"....
Thanks Dad
23 Jewel manual winding with sub Seconds Dial.
'HIS EXCELLENCY'
1960 ad 11, bottom right.
Cant find a His Excellency for 1960
Very nice...His Excellency...Thanks.
Bottom right above....don't the lugs look a little different than subject watch? the area i call the "hips" where lug meets case.
