Sir, I have Bulova serial number 25290. A17a 10bnch mil-w-6433a. 15 jewels I'm guessing the date is 1959. I cannot seem to upload a correct pic. This. Watch has a leaf shaped hour hand and white second hand with a red tip.
Does the movement have 47 stamped on it or it that L9?

wow, Good eye. It could be either / or. I just downloaded and enlarged the photo and now that you draw attention to it, it sure could be a "47".
Jigger? Can you confirm date code?

I sure hate to disappoint, but it is 'L9'.
